Alexander hobbled as fast as he could into the house before slamming the door shut. He then proceeded to put the house into lockdown, shutting off every available exit and entrance and revoking anyone's right to just pop in and visit. Even Mel's. The house was completely cut off from the rest of the multiverse and it would remain so until he reopened. Which wouldn't be for a while, if he had anything to say about it.

Panting he slumped against the door, leaning his head back and moaning slightly. He felt horrible. Half himself. Caught and trapped. And it was all that stupid Sue's fault. He tugged uselessly at the pendent around his neck. "Oh gods... oh gods... I can handle this. Yes... where's Nick?" He staggered up, "Nick? NICK!" he bellowed out, hoping that the boy wasn't on the other side of the door. Hoping that he had come home already.

Limping, he started to the bedroom where he hoped that Nick was.

Nick nods. "Yes. Of course there's something here. Do you have to go back?"

Alexander looks hesitent, "I... don't know."

"I hope you can stay." Nick is clinging.

"We're going to have to leave... to get rid of her." he frowns, "She doesn't want me gallivanting about with you..." He's clinging too.

"Well, then, let's not gallivant." Nick keeps clinging.

"You're going to have to kill her."

"With pleasure." Not a nice smile.

He kisses him again, pressing him against the wall, before murrmuring, "We'll get through this."

Nick kisses back and nods.

"Come on... let's see about getting you something sharp." He tugs Nick with him, holding tightly to his hand.

"Yes. Sharp things. Excellent." Nick squeezes.

There are many sharp things in Alexander's weapons room. He starts going through weapons muttering to himself. "Are you comfortable with any sort of weapon love?"

"Ahh, no, not really."

"Mmm... alright. I'll find you something simple so you don't end up hurting yourself too." He says, peeking from behind some spears.

"That sounds like a very good plan." Nick looks around at the weapons.

"I do have them occasionally." He's further back in the room now, muttering to himself. The weapons aren't really organized... much like the rest of the house, but they are well taken care of.

"What sort of weapon would be best?" He's a little nervous.

"Probably a spear. They've got good distance on them... you don't have to be up close to use them, I mean. It's just a sort of shove and stick sort of momvement. A lot of untrained soldiers were pike or spear men."

"I can do that." Nick takes a closer look at spears.

"Indeed. We just have to find you the right one."

Nick nods and keeps looking.

He appears next to Nick with a Spear. It's a faily normal looking spear, worn, with a sharp metal tip. "Hold this."

He does.

"How does that feel? Too heavy? Try giving it a lift."

He lifts it. "I think it's all right."
