Alexander hobbled as fast as he could into the house before slamming the door shut. He then proceeded to put the house into lockdown, shutting off every available exit and entrance and revoking anyone's right to just pop in and visit. Even Mel's. The house was completely cut off from the rest of the multiverse and it would remain so until he reopened. Which wouldn't be for a while, if he had anything to say about it.

Panting he slumped against the door, leaning his head back and moaning slightly. He felt horrible. Half himself. Caught and trapped. And it was all that stupid Sue's fault. He tugged uselessly at the pendent around his neck. "Oh gods... oh gods... I can handle this. Yes... where's Nick?" He staggered up, "Nick? NICK!" he bellowed out, hoping that the boy wasn't on the other side of the door. Hoping that he had come home already.

Limping, he started to the bedroom where he hoped that Nick was.

And Alexander steps through the doorway to look for the Sue.

Nick should have brought some water. He's coughing quite hard.

Time passes. Quite a bit of time.

Then the doorway opens up again and a wolf limps out.

Nick looks up and dives behind the bush, spear in hand.

A girl follows the wolf, and she looks around hesitantly. She looks like Serentitel's ugly sister. For she's a lot plainer, less busty, and seems... well... more human and less sparkly. She's not wearing the bandolier of bells either. She seems hunched over and rather scared.

"Why are we here again, Zander?" she asks, looking around.

Alexander sits down and scratches an ear, quietly musing if he has fleas or not. "To show you something."

Nick blinks at the appearance of the girl. But she calls Alexander 'Zander', so she must be Serenitiel.

He waits for Alexander to give some sort of signal.

Alexander looked at the girl and gave a sigh. She wasn't a Sue now, but the LOL's always wore off. It would be worse if she did live and turn back into a Sue. It was for the best. Really.

"What?" she asked. Reaching over to scratch at Alexander's ears. "It's very pretty here."

He locked eyes with Nick and jerked his head, indicating that now would be a very good time to go stabbity.

Nick comes out of the bushes quickly, pushing his spear in the manouever he practiced to get her in the stomach.

There's blood. Lots of blood and it comes gushing out all over the place. This isn't like the time she died before, quickly and unmessily. There are no sparkles now. Serentitel grasps at the spear her eyes wide and confused. She stares at Nick, trembling in fear as she collapses to the ground unable to get anything coherent out as she coughs up blood.

Nick closes his eyes tightly and twists the spear up, trying to hit her heart so she'll die faster.

She screams in pain as he twists the spear up, it's a horrible gurggling noise that peters out as she does die with a final coughed up lungful of blood. She doesn't vanish. She lays there bleeding on the grass, a dead husk.

"Need to get rid of the body." Nick's staring at it now, having turned a pale grey.

Alexander's back in human form. He looks at the body and then at Nick. "I'll do that. You... just... wait."

Nick nods vaguely, gripping the spear until his knuckles turn white.

He picks up the body and limps deeper into the trees, far out of sight from Nick. After a few minutes smoke starts to come from the trees.

Nick isn't moving, even to sit down.

His clothes are coated in blood when he comes back, wiping his hands sort of useslessly on the jacket. When he sees that Nick hasn't moved, he sighs and goes over to him. Gently he removes the spear from Nick's hands, tossing it to the side and then leads him away from the blood stained grass.

"I wasn't expecting that much blood." He shudders and starts coughing, hacking and violent.

Alexander doesn't say anything. There really isn't anything to say to that. He rubs Nick on the back though as he coughs.

The fit passes and Nick wipes his mouth, still extremely pale. "I think I need to go home and take a bath."

"Alright. We'll do that," he says. He doesn't mention that he's still bound. He doesn't want to worry Nick any further. Instead he lets his mind drift until he finds the right threads and opens the door way home.

Nick walks through rigidly, heading for the bathroom. "Last time, she just disappeared. And there were, there were sparkles."

"Last time she was a Sue. This time... apparently someething in the Nexus got her. It made her not a Sue, but a real girl," he says, following him with a limp. He's not sure if he should have told him that, but he felt that Nick should know the truth of it all.

"W-would she have turned back?" Nick looks at him, hoping for a positive answer.

"Knowing the Nexus, most likely." It's not a yes. But it's the closest he'll give. He's not going to lie to Nick.
