Alexander stood in front of his increasingly organized book shelves in the main room with the sudden dawning realization that he had no idea where anything was any more. Before he never knew where anything was, but he had some vague notion as to where to look. Now he had no vague notion nor any idea where to look. It was rather vexing. Part of him wanted to go through the shelves and unorganize them, but he stopped himself. Nick had been working hard on the books and it wouldn't be fair to the boy to undo all his work.

Especially since he set the boy on the task in the first place.

Who knew that getting organized would be so frustrating?

"Oh... well...now that is embarressing."

"Just a little." Nick coughs and blushes.

"Oh, dearling... I never meant... I really need a good pet name for you...but I never meant to sound like I was carrying on a relationship with my real sister..." he said putting a hand on Nick's shoulder.

"Of course you weren't. I should have realized." Nick's embarrased. Really.

"Why should you have realized? I never said anything to indicate other wise." Fingers tapped on Nick's shoulder.

"Well, obviously you wouldn't... I'm an idiot." Nick buries his head in Alexander's shoulder.

Arms wrap around Nick, one hand shoving the book back in the knight's visor (it was so close and convient a placec to put the book) holding him tightly. "Shhh... you are not an idiot."

"I am..." But he snuggles anyways.

"Ignorant of the circumstances between Mel and I, but certainly not an idiot." The snuggling is not minded at all.

"Details, details." More snuggling.

"Details are important, Love." And there is petting.

"Mmm. I suppose."

He kisses Nick on the head. "They can mean the difference between war and peace sometimes."

"Of course." Nick sighs, feeling better.

"Mmm..." He sighs too, feeling very comfortable holding Nick.

Nick nuzzles a little bit.

There's a purrish noise in response, as any sort of moving sort of wanders off from Alexander's brain.

Nick keeps nuzzling.

Distraction method? Very succesful.

And he continues to make the purring noise. He's completely forgotten about whatever book he had come in for.

He obviously should have started nuzzling earlier.

As that would have saved him from the potential smiting as well as the frustration of having to pick up after Alexander, yes, he probably should have.

So he keeps nuzzling. Yay!

Some brain function stutters back to life despite the nuzzling, "You're being distracting."

Nick looks innocent. "I am? Sorry."

"Yes. I'm sure you are." There is Nick against him which is also very distracting, "I forgot where I was going with this."
