Nick was gone. Alexander had sent the boy back home to finish things that needed to be finished off. He wasn't going to take him away from his life when there were things that needed to be done there. Which left him all alone. It was damn empty with out him, now that Alexander thought of it.

He walked into the Library and started looking at the books, trying to find references to extremely powerful multidemensional entities.

"What happened to you? You look like you've been through a black hole." He shoves the book he was looking at back on the shelf.

"Nothing happened to me. I'm just pissy, and I might as well been through one." She glances at the book he was looking at.

The book was titled, "Multidemensional entities, your a-z guide to them." Funny what sort of book titles you can find.

"Why are you pissy?"

[identity profile] dancingcreation.livejournal.com 2006-09-12 02:40 am (UTC)(link)
"Not sure why. Just vaugly pissy. Am I in there?" a head tilt at the book.

"You know, I never looked. I don't think it has a section on embodiments."

"A prideful bastard like you not look? I am shocked, Alec." She looks at the bag.

"Where do I put it?" she asks.

"I never said I didn't look for me." he gestures her out of the library. "Have the other shards up in the big workshop."

[identity profile] dancingcreation.livejournal.com 2006-09-12 02:55 am (UTC)(link)
Melinda nods. "I'll go put them up there. And by the time I come back, you will have looked for me. And that's an order." She walks off to put it with the other shards.

He blinked and then grabbed the book, flipping through the pages with an amused expression on his face.

"Well? Did you find me or you?" she asks, appearing randomly in the way she does.

[identity profile] master-troven.livejournal.com 2006-09-12 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
"... you need to give me time to go through the book. It's not organized very well."

[identity profile] master-troven.livejournal.com 2006-09-12 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
He continues to flip through the pages, "Where did you find the shard?"

[identity profile] dancingcreation.livejournal.com 2006-09-12 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
"I was trying to get to a party on a regular world. I wanted to dance where nobody would know me. It landed in my drink." she scowls.

He does not laugh. Nope. There is not a hint of a snigger. A bit of a smirk or anything else that would indicate amusement. Not a bit. "Really?"

[identity profile] dancingcreation.livejournal.com 2006-09-12 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
"Really." she knows he's amused. She glowers.

[identity profile] master-troven.livejournal.com 2006-09-12 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
"How terrible." He flips through pages.

[identity profile] master-troven.livejournal.com 2006-09-12 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
"Now aren't you being rude... telling me to hush in my own home." He's still page flipping.
