Rp with Mel and Nick.

master_trovenWhen he wanted to, Alexander could put his mind to a task and get it done. Such tasks today included picking up, cleaning and cooking. He actually had Nick help with the first two. The boy had to do something for his room and board beyond being his lover. Nick was his apprentice after all and that ment he got to do the things that Alexander wanted done, but not necessarily wanted to do himself.
At least there were no windows to be washed.
Cooking done and soup simmering, the table was set with almost matching silverware and plates. Everyone had a matching set, it just didn't match with anyone else's. Even the fire-lizards had a spot at the table, because he knew they were going to invite themselves.
When it got near the time that he thought that Melinda would be arriving he sent Nick to wash up and washed up himself. Though not at the same time as Nick. That would have been too distracting. He actually dressed nicely, out of his rangery leathers that he usually pranced about in. It was a gray tunic with a dark blue surcoat over it, silver phoenixes embroidered on the cuffs of the coat and around the collar. Nice pants and ankle boots finished that off. His hair was tied back, though strands of it still fell in his face despite all efforts.
All that was left was for Mel to show up.
