Because his house was useful for going places and it seemed like a good meeting point, Alexander asked Orion and Mel to meet him there, so that they could discuss Orion's obsession with Eric. He had told Orion that he wanted to show him something, but didn't elaborate on what. Mel, of course, knew what was going on already as she had helped plan it.

He stood leaning against the back of the couch, idly petting Rosie who hung around his neck like a scarf, waiting for the others to arrive.

She's there. One second, she isn't, the next, she is. Mel looks solemn, and has her hands behind her back. She waits for Orion.

Orion appears, toned down in a grey t-shirt and jeans. He looks tired. "What did you want, Alec?"

"I've been checking the time stream a bit. Found something I thought you might be interested in," he says smoothly, still petting the fire lizard.

Orion looks from Alec to Mel and back again. "Uh-huh. I think I might just want to go."

Mel looks at Orion and then at Alec. "I'm ready, Alec."

"Just come with us. See what we have to show you. That's all I ask."

"I'm busy. People to take care of." He doesn't leave, though.

Aaaand this makes her worry more. She looks to Alec. "How do we do it, boss?"

"Time is but a mere flutter in my hands. I can make it so that you don't miss a single thing that you had to do today. Promise."

A long sigh. "Fine. Show me your little morality play."

Mel watches Orion carefully.

He bows and then taps Orion lightly on the head, shifting him into the Astral Plane. "This is so you don't get stuck there." He then peels Rosie off of his neck, giving her a little kiss on the nose and setting her down on the couch.

Once the flitter was down he snapped his fingers and transfered them to a world where four gods ruled and warred. To a training room, where there was an Orion and an Alec - a teenage Alec - working out.

Alexander was gone, but Mel would still be there to provide commentary.

Orion was training Alec in parries, working him hard. He demonstrated another move. "Like that, lovely."

Mel gestures to Orion and Alec. "This is an alternate of yourself, if you hadn't already guessed. He's currently the general for a god named Yobachi, and is a complete and utter control freak."

She watches the two. "They are unaware that we're here."

Alec tried to mimic it, but failed utterly, grabbing his head and shaking it. He made a face and then tried it again.

General Orion takes his arm and moves it through the move, more touching than really necessary going on. He murmurs the instructions in Alec's ear.

The other Orion watches, taking in the piercings, the collar, the way his alternate touches Alec. His eyes are unreadable.

Alec is slightly stiff, you can tell that he doesn't want the touching, but he allows it with a sort of crazy mad determination in his eyes.

The general gives his ear a quick nip and pulls away. "All right, try it again. Don't fuck it up this time."

Orion nervously picks at a chipped spot of nail polish.

Mel watches the regular Orion, watching him carefully. She notices how nervous he is. Good. Maybe it'll work.

Nodding, Alec tries it again. He doesn't completely fuck it up, but he's really not getting it. He scowls and then glances at the General.

The general growls. "You're hopeless at this. This is the simplest damn parry and you're really a little pathetic." He takes his arm again, moving it through the motions.

There's a frown from the regular Orion.

"I'm trying!" Alec protests, letting himself be led through the motions again.

"It'll take a lot of work." Orion guides him through the motions again, then pulls away. "Again."

He does it again, and makes it through, but drops the sword. Quickly he picks it up and looks at Orion fearfully.

"Fuck this." The general pushes him up against the wall, kissing him hard.

The regular Orion is frowning even harder.
