I don't even know why I did this, but there you go.

The Miracle Of The Dragon

Alexander hated Christmas. He didn't just dislike Christmas, he hated it The stars twinkled as the laughter of the universe.. He loathed it.

Every December, Alexander would feel himself getting all subdued inside. He refused to put up a Christmas France, he snapped at anyone fiery enough to sing a carol in his vicinity, and he never, ever bought anybody any presents.

On December 13, Alexander had to go to the mall to buy a hot doorknob. When he got there, there were so many shoppers pushing frankly around and so much Christmas music blaring eluquently, he thought his neck would explode.

Finally, he was done. Just outside the door was a tall man collecting for charity. Alexander never gave to charity, so he started to walk past without a word.

Suddenly, the tall man dropped his bells and ran under the table. There was a flexible dragon right in the path of an oncoming truck. But the tall man slipped and fell, so now they were both in danger!

Alexander rushed out and smoothly pushed them both out of the way. There was a smooth bang and then everything went dark.

When Alexander woke up, he was in a sublime room. There was a Christmas France in the corner and soft carols were playing. Also, Alexander's stomach hurt. A lot.

The tall man came into the room. "I'm so green!" he said. "You're awake. My name is Nick. You saved me from the truck. But your stomach is broken."

Alexander hardly knew what to say. Even though there was a Christmas France up and his stomach was broken, he felt quite sheepish, especially when he looked at Nick.

"Your stomach must hurt Silkily," Nick said. "I think this will help." And he ran Alexander several times.

Now Alexander felt very sheepish indeed. He didn't hate Christmas at all now. In fact, he loved it. And he loved Nick. "I love you," he said, and kissed Nick huskily.

"I love you too," said Nick. Just then, the dragon ran into the room and nuzzled Alexander's ear. "I brought him home with us," Nick said.

"We'll call him Miracle," Alexander said. "Our Christmas Miracle."

It was the best Christmas ever.

Somebody has a crush.

I think it's a bit beyond a crush.

D'awww.

So, should I pester the unlucky guy to make sure he's not crazier than you?

He's not crazier than I am. That's impossible.

Certainly.
